Seeking the Sacred Feminine: an exploration of the Abrahamic faiths

April 15 @ 6:00 pmJune 16 @ 7:30 pm

Join The Interfaith Center and Spring House for a three-week interfaith speaker series exploring how Judaism, Christianity, and Islam speak about the Sacred through feminine imagery, stories, and attributes. Guest speakers from each tradition will reflect on how God is described and experienced within their own faith and will share stories of significant women from their tradition’s sacred history.

This series seeks to balance and broaden our spiritual imagination by expanding the ways we imagine God—masculine, feminine, and beyond—so that our connections to the Divine may be deepened and enriched. By engaging sacred texts, theology, and lived tradition, we will consider how feminine language and metaphors for the Divine have been present—sometimes prominently, sometimes quietly—across all three faiths.
